2. Account Requirements

To use Barterloom, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age or have parental consent
• Have a valid Google account
• Grant Barterloom permission to access your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Tasks
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Barterloom only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the service for any illegal activities or to violate any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

• You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated content before sending
• We are not liable for any consequences resulting from AI-generated content you choose to use
• The AI may occasionally misinterpret context or intent

5. Subscription & Payments

Barterloom offers both free and paid subscription plans:

• Free tier includes limited features and usage quotas
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• All payments are processed securely through our payment provider
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us for assistance

6. Intellectual Property

The Barterloom service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by Barterloom of California and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your own data (emails, calendar events, tasks). By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the service features.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Barterloom. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barterloom of California and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
